DiCookieMan is a home bakery based in Fresno, California. This policy explains what information we collect through dicookieman.com, how we use it, and the choices you have.
What we collect
When you send us a message or a catering request, we collect your name and email address, plus anything else you choose to give us: your phone number and the details of your event — date, type, estimated guest count, pickup or delivery preference, and a delivery address.
If you tick the newsletter box, we also record that you asked to hear from us.
We do not take payment through this website, and we never collect or store card numbers here. Payment for a confirmed catering order is arranged with you directly.
How we use it
We use your information to answer your message, prepare a quote, fulfill a confirmed order, and arrange pickup or delivery. If — and only if — you opted in, we may also send you occasional news and offers. You can unsubscribe at any time.
We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.
Who we share it with
Your information is handled by a small number of services that keep this business running:
- Hostinger — hosts this website
- HubSpot — where we keep our customer records
- Elementor Site Mailer — delivers the email your enquiry generates
- Google Workspace — our email
Each handles data under its own privacy policy. We share your information with them only so they can perform these functions for us.
Cookies and analytics
This site uses browser cookies to keep it working properly and to understand how visitors use it. HubSpot may set a cookie that lets us connect an enquiry to the pages someone looked at before sending it. You can block cookies in your browser settings, though parts of the site may not behave as expected if you do.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries and customer records for as long as we need them to serve you and to keep proper business records. Ask us to delete yours and we will, unless we are required to keep it.
Your choices
Email orders@dicookieman.com to see, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you. Every marketing email we send has an unsubscribe link at the bottom.
Your California privacy rights
California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request that we delete it, and not to be treated differently for exercising those rights. We do not sell personal information. To make a request, email orders@dicookieman.com.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, email us and we will delete it.
